June & July Passed right by!

WARNING: VERY LONG POST!!!!

4th of July
is my FAV!! It's been my favorite holiday since I was little. It was tradition for everyone on my moms side of the family to come for a family reunion and we'd swim all day, go to the carnival and of course my dad's awesome fireworks display. We had cousins and Aunts and Uncles come from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah. When I was in high school for some reason they just stopped. So when I met Shaun my new favorite tradition was spending the 4th in Delta with his dad's side of the family. We"d wake up, go to the parade, walk to the park to have the yummiest navajo tacos and lemonade-ish drinks on the planet, and then hit up the derby. This year was a first in five years :( So we decided to go back to old tradition. My Uncle Lamar and Aunt Stephanie were in town from Oregon, so my Aunt KAtie, Aunt Nellie and Uncle Phil all came down. It was so good to see everyone since I never get to.

Me, Jax and dad... Cam was sleeping :(

7 MONTHS ALREADY!!!

Wow Cam is already 7 months and CRAWLING!!!

Baby bable: mamma, dadda, baba and mmmuh mmmuh, well and his high pitched scream lol

Foods: He loves, loves his baby food and can't get enough. Sometimes he'll yell at you that you weren't fast enough to put it into his mouth. He loves sauces, ice cream, baby mums and sucking on breakfast sausage .. it's so funny to watch him do that.

Things he does to his brother: Kicks both legs really hard in the bath and it drenches mom and makes Jax oh so mad cuz it ruins his quiet play time in the tub. He is getting super fast at crawling so Jax thinks he has to save all his toys from super crawler Cam lol. If Cam is hungry or tired in the car he whines pretty good and now Jax will tell Cam to "stop eeeet!" ... "stop it CAMMMM!" Watches every move that Jax does including him dancing, he laughs and giggles. When I am changing Jax's diaper Cam likes to crawl over and snatch Jax's binkie, hey maybe he's trying to help mom and dad get Jax off the binky hehehe.

Things that make him giggle: loves to be tickled, loves when anyone claps he instanlty smiles, when Jax talks to him about 2 inches from his face, we pretend fight his big brother and he likes that, looking out our front window on our red chair... he smiles and laughs every time, as soon as you see him and start walking towards him he lights up and gets real bashful it's so dang cute.

Funny things he does: He loves, loves, loves things on his face,, it can be my hair, a blanket, my bed skirt, or a toy he just really likes to have something right there. He is obsessed with trying to pull himself up on stuff, like if I'm sitting indian style he'll find a way to crawl over me. He won't hold still for one second so diaper changes are a joke... try poopy ones, that's not very fun lol.

I just get so excited for each milestone and can't wait for more he wants to explore  :)

Happy news:

Me and Shaun have been happily together 5 years and married for 4 years on June 14th and had an awesome Sushi movie night just us old folks :) Wow how time flies when ur havin fun... and have two kiddos, lol. I love you very much Shaun and can't wait for many more years to come!!!

The sad news:
Grandpa Joe Netols
R.I.P.
June 20th, 2011

Grandpa was an amazing man, he will forever be missed!!!
I'm glad he got to see me get married and come to the hospital for the birth of both my sons, now he can go share those memories with my Grandma in heaven.

Fathers Day was our last goodbye...
After hearing the news Monday morning, I knew it was coming but it still hit me like a ton of bricks!
Knowing that the funeral was going to be in New Jersey, were my dad was born and raised and were my Grandma and 2 Aunts lay to rest, I became really sad knowing I would not be able to be there. My parents really wanted everyone to go but plane tickets were insanely expensive. So they quickly decided that they wanted to drive and take me and my brother with them. When my gpa was in and out the only person he always remembered and asked for was "the little guy" so we decided to bring Jax too. So we headed out for a roadtrip of disaster to try and make it by Friday morning before the first viewing. That was the LONGEST car ride of my life and don"t think I'll be doing it again anytime soon. here are a few pictures from our trip:

Sunday before we left we went to see the Lighthouses up in the Highlands before we left, you can't see it very well in the pictures but behind us you can see the New York skyline. We climbed all the way to the top.

Sorry my comp. is being weird and won"t let me rotate my pics :(
But here's a pic of one of the lighthouses.

One of the first anchors to land on this coast

We grabbed a quick lunch on the pier before leaving and my dad wanted to show Jax the seagulls. So he threw a fry into the water and a bunch started to swirl around and my brother says: "Good thing you read that huge sign before we walked in that said absolutely NO feeding the seagulls!" Well, at least we were done eating lol.

Jax was so cute, we told him that was great gma and great gpa, so he climbed up and said, " I hug "

My Aunt Gracie and Aunt Franciene next my grandparents
We came one last time to say pur goodbyes before we left.

WOW this place was amazing!!!!

Some of the SOFTEST most deeelish ice cream I have ever had!

Jax liked it too lol!

This church was the church my gma and gpa were married in

It was so beautiful and so neat it was still standing and we got to see it!!!

We also drove by my dad's childhood home which is right next to the bay so we took Jax of course so he could see and feel the ocean. While playing he found a crab... ok ok it was dead but still kinda cool for him :)

He loved it so much he jumped right in lol

And ran up and down and up and down as much as he could, it was really cute to see him have so much fun

This was my dad's home growing up.. brings back a lot of memories!

Now the whole trip Jax was asking to see boats, so we finally went and showed him the boats.

Jax LOVED the boats!!!!

This sunset was so beautiful!

Well while we were walking along the docks a man overheard us talking and offered us a free mini sunset cruise that they were doing for just that night. Well we jumped at the opportunity and while on our cruise as it got darker Jax became board and decided to play dog on my phone. He was laughing so loud it caught attention of some of the other passengers and a couple could not stop laughing and asking how the heck he knew how to use my phone. Sometimes I don't know how he does the things he does on there, lol.

You can see the lighthouses we climbed on top of the hill

His funeral was very pretty:

Great Aunt Helen, Aunt Joett, Pat and my dad

The Navy Salute was really awesome and my gpa would've loved it

My dad got to keep the flag

Grandpa you will be very missed, I LOVE YOU and cherish my time I had with you!!!!
