WOW.. I am absolutely horrible this time around, but the good news is that I keep sake better in his baby book than I did on the blog. So I have everything written down and ready to type..... Around August our computer kind of gave out and it took us a while to get a new one and by the time we got the new one I didn't know how to use it hahaha, and I broke my camera!!! So here goes 5 missed egg carton months:
8 MONTHS
8 months in August 2011
weight was about 18.5 lbs. and 29 in. in height
*Sleeping patterns were horrible, he would be up almost 3 to 4 times a night and we were trying everything at this point to help him sleep.
*His favorites treats became those gerber cheetos, that is if his big brother didn't try and steal them, yogurt melts and any kind of cracker.
* He was trying anything we were eating but what he really loved was Mashed Potatos!
*This month was hard because not only was he sticking everything in his mouth, but I had just vacuumed one day and left for work when Shaun put Jax in time out and came back to a blue turning Cam.... in panic he called 911 turned him over to help him breathe as much as he could without lodging whatever it was in his throat further. As soon as Shaun heard the ambulance drive up our circle Cam chocked up what was lodged in his throat. It was a clear plastic seal part of the wrap that a huggies tub of wipes is sealed in!!! I couldn't believe that after I had even vacuumed Cam managed to probably crawl and discover this clear hard plastic and of course shoved it into his mouth!!!
*He got better at attempting to use his nub hitting all the musical toys and disovering how they worked.
*Since the weather was still nice we went swimming a lot and Cam loved it soooo much it was hard getting him out of the water most times.
*He made a lot of tounge and lip noises... tried really hard to mimic mom and dad as well.
9 MONTHS
September 3rd 2011
weighed 19.10 lbs-35% and was 29 3/4in 90% in height and his head circ was 47.3 cm-95%
(guess he has a big head lol)
*We discovered that at night what was waking you up so much was the diaper, wether it be wet or poopy you hated to be sitting in it. I don't blame you!
*You ate EVERYTHING, and you never pulled a nasty face for anything either.
*You started loving any kind of noodle and you always went after your brothers sippy cups. You even hold a sippy and bottle pretty good, unlike your brother who refused to hold one at your age.
*You were so good at standing and walking around stuff that you dared a lot of times to let go and would stand for up to 5 seconds.
*You were kinda sick a lot this month so we didn't get out much
*One thing you went crazy over were animals! Everytime you'd see Tazzy or Major you would get so excited and crawl as fast as you could to get them. (you'd even sit there and let Taz lick your face and mouth, one time you even opened your mouth...eww gross)
*You had your fake cry down to a "T" and would know the perfect situation to turn it off and on! This made Jax a little irritated hahaha
10 MONTHS
10 months in October 2011
weighed 20lbs and height was 30 in.
*Finally you become a semi good sleeper and only woke up once if that.... it was a miracle. Well that and the fact that we were melting butter into your dinner before we put you down to add the extra calories to make you feel full longer.
*You love to eat eat eat!! You tried spagetti, scrambled eggs and your brothers favorite FRIES!!! You both seemed to be in love with fries since your first taste.
*Two of your bottom teeth came poking through and boy are they cute!! Although you did kind of scratch your nub with them =(
*You are standing with no help and even attempt to step here and there but fall back on your bum.
*You are obsessed with pointing a lot at things, not knowing what to do or say but pointing.
*If I could have a tracker of how many people stop me a day and say how adorable you are or how pretty your blue eyes were I would have lost count..... You know how to stop traffic that's for sure. And you play that shy innocent thing really well, better use it now while it still works right!?!
*You say momma, dadda, baba and uhuhuh and love it when we mimic back and forth.
*You went to the Circus with all your cousins and sat still better than your big brother.
*You were a TIGER for your first ever Halloween, just like your big brother. The suit was so soft you just relaxed and wanted to lie down in it.
* Notice your black eye in this picture, thanks to Jax your brother who pushed you off the mini tramp!!
11 MONTHS
11 Months in November 2011
weight was around 21lbs and height was 31 in.
It was impossible for you to hold still for more than 2 seconds, this was the only good pic I could get
*You were finally sleeping good.... but still had a bad night once in a while. It seemed like you had baby terrors that would wake you out of a dead sleep.
*You were difficult to feed at this month. You found it a fun fun game to spit out your food in mom and dads faces. You were constantly blowing your lips together with everything.
*zyour favorite foods became go-gurt, pizza, mac n' cheese, cheetos, and really anything we gave you. You weren't picky that's for sure!
*You finally mastered the turn around to get off or down something so you tried it on anything you could find.
*You started WALKING yay!!!!! It took you till the middle of the month but you did it!!!
*You bacame obsessed with Mickey Mouse and freeze any time you hear or see him, it's so cute!
*You are so funny with your mimics, I will roll a car up and down your arm or across your head and say vroom vromm, so you'll try the same on me. Except you sound more like uhm uhm.
*You are so stubborn, just like your whole family that's for sure, at times you won't even budge a tiny little smile for anyone.
*It looks like your two front teeth are almost down, you have been kind of cranky.
12 MONTHS
ONE YEAR!!!!!
12 Months in December 2011
Weight 22 lbs-30% height 31in. 85% head circ. 48.1- 92%
(so that means he is tall and skinny with a really big head lol)
-Notice we had to bribe you with goodies just to take your pic!
*I get compliments all the time about your pretty blue eyes and your cute curly hair (which you got from your mom)
*You sleep pretty good, depending on when you last ate you get pretty hungry.
*You love to self feed so we try and break what foods we can down for you to feed yourself with.
you like bread, chips, crackers, fries, meats and you LOVE veggie soup you can't get enough.
*You now have all four top and bottom two teeth. You love to eat fruit snacks and it's funny to watch how you chew them up with your four timy teeth haha.
*You are a walking machine.... although you seem kind of bull legged and a tiny bit pidgeon toed... which makes for a drunk frankenstein kind of walk haha.
*You are always trying to pick up stuff like your toy cars and table toys. Maybe you're trying to prove your strength to Jax, lol.
*You love to climb and have gotten very clever and you'll push toys over to the couch or table just to climb up on it and get something you want.
*You now have a defense cry you only turn on when you see us watching Jax do something mean to you, otherwise you blow it off. But you do like teasing your brother with toys you know he doesn't want you playing with you'll walk over as fast as you can pick it up and throw it away from him... it's pretty funny to watch.
*You sure love soft blankies, you can't go without stoping to lay down on one if you see it.
*You and your brother can be pretty silly, especially in the tub. You guys can giggle at each other for days!
*One thing i admire about you is that you never give up, yes you'll get frustrated, but you always keep trying. you are my love bug!!
I am so very thankful that you were chosen to be our child and that I get to be your mom. It's the most fun and rewarding thing I could have asked for! You are a blessing and so very special,
