I cannot believe that my baby Cam is now ONE!!! He's not really my baby anymore! This pic was just after I gave birth to this very special boy whom I was super excited to meet! When finding out the gender of Ca, the doctor then informed us that our special boy would be born without a hand, lucky for him Cam was born with half a palm and all 4 metacarpal bones,which means room to grow, and it makes for one cute and VERY strong nub!!! I remember seeing him for the first time and just crying tears of joy and thinking to myself how lucky I was to have given birth to such an amazing thing that had been growing inside me. All that time wondering how he looked, what it would be like to hold him, how excited I was for his brother to meet him.. and thinking all at the same time how I'd ever love another child after having one. Well a new love was born and I cannot even put into words the kind of love you can have for each child you have, I just feel so lucky to have two boys who love their mommy and the best part is that they are all mine! =) He has been a very passionate and loving boy who is always determined to do things at a fast pace.... like crawling, walking and communicating. He has shown me patience in a whole new light, and his willingness to never give up is so courageous! If he can't do something with his nub, say pick up and hold a toy, he will try and try until he finds a way to pick it up and hold it no matter how frustrated he may get. I envy that trait. I don't wanna make this post too long, but I wanted to re-visit some pics and memories of his first year so enjoy and be sure to watch his b-day videos @ the end.

This is Cam @ 6 months already trying to stand on his own.... lets say it was hard always trying to keep an eye on him because every five seconds he'd be Mr. Evil Canevil trying tricks and dare devil things that scared me.

11 months.... he became mr. sober face and didn't crack a smile unless he felt like it, sounds like someone caught the stubborn trait from mom and dad! hahahaha

For his BIRTHDAY this year we were @ Snowbird for the Annual ES3 Christmas party so it was just a small family affair in our hotel room. He is infatuated with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so of course Mickey presents were a must!!! Is he not the cutest!!!!
Well of course Jax had to test out everything that Cam opened and didn't want to share Cam's own toys with Cam!!! Nice big brother right hahaha!!!
The Birthday song, it's so cute how he plays shy at the end. We just went to G-ma and G-pa Netols house for dinner and cake on our way home from snowbird.
